XVII. NOTIFICATIONS

1. Notifications sent to the Insurer by the Policyholder, Member or Beneficiary shall be addressed to the former's registered offices as specified in the Policy.

2. Notifications sent by the Insurer to the Policyholder, Member or Beneficiary shall be addressed to their respective addresses as stated in the Policy, unless changes of address have been duly notified.

3. Notifications sent by the Policyholder to the insurance agent who negotiates or negotiated the contract shall have the same effect as if they had been sent directly to the Insurer.

4. Premium payments made to the insurance agent by the Policyholder shall not be understood to have been made to the Insurer, unless the agent furnishes the Policyholder with a premium receipt issued by the aforesaid Insurer in exchange for payment.

5. Premium payments made by the Policyholder to the broker shall not be understood to have been made to the Insurer, unless the broker furnishes the Policyholder with a premium receipt issued by the aforesaid Insurer in exchange for payment.
