A. Any pre-existing and/or congenital illness, defect or malformation (except as stipulated in this regard under section E of clause one) resulting from accident or illness occurring prior to the inclusion of each Member in the Policy; as well as any caused thereby, provided they were known to the Policyholder or Member and were not declared.

As of when he / she signs the insurance proposal / application, the Insurance Policyholder is under obligation to state, on his / her behalf and / or on behalf of each and every beneficiary, whether they suffer or have suffered from injuries or illnesses of any kind, especially any that are recurrent, congenital or require or did require studies, diagnostic tests or treatment of any kind; or were suffering from symptoms or signs that could be considered as an indication of a disease of some kind at the time of signing. If declared in this manner, the disorder shall be considered as pre-existent and / or congenital and, hence, shall be excluded from the cover covenanted in the insurance contract. In the light of any pre-existent and / or congenital diseases, the Company reserves the right to accept or reject application membership and, in the event of acceptance, the respective clause of exclusion with regard to the provision of services for pre-existing and / or congenital diseases, defects or malformations present prior to the date of inclusion of each Member in the Policy, and any that could be caused thereby, shall be attached to the Particular Conditions of the Policy.
