www.e-agentelocaldeseguros.com Spain: Sanitas agent (BUPA Group) Sanitas Mundi - General Conditions (English) This benefit covers the partial refund or, as appropriate, total payment by the insurer of expenses corresponding to visits and emergency home visits. It also covers partial refund or, as appropriate, total payment by the insurer of expenses corresponding to physician-prescribed diagnostic tests, therapy, and day-case or out-patient surgery. It also includes partial refund or, as appropriate, total payment by the Insurer of expenses incurred for visits to dentists or extractions, stomatological care as a result of such extractions and scaling when prescribed by a dentist. The service of ambulance by land for moving the Insured to a hospital or from the hospital to his / her home following medical prescription is included. In case of services recommended by the Insurer, this service will be rendered when the agreed healthcare resources are not enough to care the Insured at his place or he/she requests going to his province or residence. In case of reimbursement, the service will be also rendered in compliance with the economic limits established in the particular conditions of the policy. The service does not include the moves required for rehabilitation therapies or for performing diagnostic procedures on an outpatient basis. Also included is home health care prescribed by a physician, provided exclusively by the medical services recommended by the Insurer. The podiatry (chiropody) service is also covered, subject to the maximum number of sessions stipulated in the Particular Conditions.
