Sanitas Multi - Term of the insurance ( health insurance )

1. The Insurance is stipulated for the period of time specified in the particular conditions and at its expiration, in accordance with article 22 of the Insurance Contract Act, it will be extended tacitly for periods not exceeding one year. Nevertheless, either of the parties may repudiate extension by giving the other party due written notice not less than two months before the date of expiration of the current period.

2. The Insurer may not terminate the Policy while the Insured is undergoing hospital treatment until discharge, unless the Insured declines to continue with the treatment.

3. In respect of each Insured, the Insurance lapses:

a) due to death

b) if relatives living with the Policy-holder are included in the Policy, when they cease to live at the latter's home on a regular basis, notification of which should be given to the Insurer. If these persons take out a new policy before one month has passed from the aforementioned notification, the Insurer shall maintain the policy standing rights acquired by them, providing that they subscribe the same guarantees.

4. Persons under 14 years of age may only be included in the insurance if their legal guardian(s) or the person or persons responsible for their custody are also insured, unless agreed otherwise.

5. The covers contracted shall not take effect until the first premium has been paid.
